Fatal accident on A7: Man from Main-Kinzig-Kreis dies tragically

Around 1 p.m. there was a serious collision between a tractor-trailer and a car, in which a 36-year-old driver from the Main-Kinzig-Kreis was fatally injured. Fortunately, the driver of the truck, a 60-year-old Austrian, was unharmed.

The dramatic events started when the truck driver was forced to stop his vehicle on the right lane due to a breakdown. The subsequent driver was not able to brake in time and crashed into the semitrailer with full force. Despite immediate rescue measures, the man still succumbed to his serious injuries at the scene of the accident. The damage to property is estimated at around 40,000 euros, and the police are currently investigating how this devastating accident could occur.
