The weather in Hessen becomes an adventure! After a cloudy Wednesday with dense clouds and occasional rain, which started from the late morning, the German Weather Service (DWD) announces a dramatic turn. The temperatures only climb to modest 7 to 11 degrees, while only 5 degrees are reached at the altitudes. But that's not all - the wind becomes stronger and brings stormy gusts with it!

The DWD warnings are here! From 6 p.m., warns for the Rhine-Main area and parts of South and Middle Hesse in front of the wind gust of level 1. These alarming information apply until the early morning hours of November 28th. Among other things, the city of Frankfurt, the Wetteraukreis and the Main-Kinzig-Kreis are affected. The people in these regions should prepare for uncomfortable nights!

The sky remains very cloudy on Thursday night. Showers pull from north to south, and it could even snow in the mountain lines over 800 meters! However, the meteorologists are optimistic: smoothness is hardly expected. The temperatures drop to 5 to 2 degrees, and in the Rhön it could even be frosty. But be careful! The wind will continue to grow, with strong to stormy gusts that can even reach gusts of wind on comb areas.
