New youth center in Schöneck: fun and games for all kids!

In the heart of Büdesheim, an exciting move has taken place! The youth center has moved to new, cozy rooms on the site of the dandelion daycare center. While the old castle is being renovated, children between the ages of seven and twelve can now spend their free time in the pavilion. Here you can expect an inviting ambience with colorful lights, sofas and a variety of play options!

The new premises are smaller, but are all the more inviting. The children are offered a varied program with loom bands, ironing beads and a gambling room that is equipped with a switch and Playstation. "We took everything into our hands and thought about what the kids really need," reports social worker Sarah Spangenberg. The move was a challenge, but thanks to the support of the building yard, the heavy furniture could be easily transported.

an open offer for everyone

The open meeting is a great opportunity for the children to develop and play. "We have a table football, free WiFi and a small kitchen in which the children can independently prepare snacks," explains Spangenberg. The first visitors on this day, Lenny and Ouail, are enthusiastic: "Here I can play football with my friends and deal with my friends, I just bore myself at home," says Lenny.

The offer is not only exciting for the children, but also for the social workers who often actively play or tinker themselves. "The children can move freely here and feel at home," added Spangenberg. With a selection of snacks and drinks, the physical well -being is also taken care of. The youth center in Büdesheim is now the new meeting point for all Schöneck children who can spend carefree hours here!
