New waste concept in Erlensee: changes from 2025!

From January 1, 2025, a new waste disposal company will come into force in Erlensee: The Weisgerber company from Waechtersbach will take over the collection of waste from the previous company Max Spahn from Maintal. This change is the result of a Europe-wide tender that was carried out together with the Main-Kinzig district's own waste management company. The collection of residual waste and organic waste will in future be carried out on different days, while the collection districts for paper disposal will be restructured according to districts. The waste calendar currently being distributed contains detailed information about collection districts and collection times. There are also adjustments to waste acceptance at the construction yard: there will no longer be waste acceptance on Wednesdays. The acceptance times start one hour earlier on Friday and there are also extensions on Saturdays. Strict safety regulations apply to the delivery of lithium batteries to the construction yard: The contact poles must be covered with adhesive tape to avoid the risk of fire.
