Brutal attack in Wabern: Five men are on trial!

In December 2023, a brutal attack occurred in Wabern, in which a 39-year-old man was seriously injured. The case currently employs the Kassel district court, where five men between the ages of 22 and 30 are charged with the Schwalm-Eder district. The charges against the perpetrators include murder, dangerous bodily harm and severe robbery. They planned to attack the victim in his apartment on Bahnhofstrasse to steal money and valuables.

The crime took place on December 2, 2023, while the defendants were armed with a machete, two hammers and two shock pistols. The victim suffered life -threatening injuries, including a skull fracture and several cuts. The perpetrators were able to escape with cash and entertainment electronics, which underlines the severity of the crime.

Investigations and other suspects

like the hessenschau reported the police and the public prosecutor Kassel against a total of four people because of the attempted murder. Three of the suspects, aged 21 to 28, are in custody. In addition, there is a 30-year-old woman who is said to have instigated the men for action, but against whom the arrest warrant was put out of prison. They are also accused of severe robbery and completed dangerous bodily harm.

In the course of the investigation, a special working group was founded to clarify the background of the crime. Last Tuesday, searches took place in eight apartments, in which alleged means of tea and parts of the predatory goods were ensured. The crime should have a financial background and the investigation into possible further investments are still ongoing.
