SG Niederaula/Kerspenhausen defends indoor circuit championship title!

The SG Niederaula/Kutspenhausen has once again secured the title of the indoor circuit master in the Hersfeld-Rotenburg football district. In an exciting final, the team defeated the FSG Jossatal 2-0. Luis Veapi was the crucial player who scored both goals for Niederaula/Kerspenhausen.

In the run -up to the final round, the FSG Jossatal had shown an impressive performance and won all eight group games. In the semi -finals she prevailed against Hönebach. Niederaula/Kerspenhausen was also a group winner, but had to accept a defeat against Hönebach. In the semifinals there was a high air for Niederaula/Kerspenhausen, with Max Schäfer used as a goalkeeper because the regular goalkeepers were struck.

The games took place in Obersuhl, where game director Thomas Becker praised the quality of the all -round gang and the big goals and noticed that more teams could have participated. He also demanded that indoor football should be fun. VfL Heimboldshausen reached the final round, but had difficulties against higher -class teams.

Nils Bickel from FSG Jossatal was elected to the best goalkeeper in the tournament. Kevin Kunze from ESV Hönebach secured the title of the best goal scorer with eight goals. Organizationally, the tournament itself received a lot of praise, both for the game organization and for the culinary offer, which included domestic products. This was emphasized by district football manager Rainer Schmidt and the tournament organizer Thomas Becker.

For the future, it is planned to repeat the format of the tournament with the introduction of futsal in the coming year, which is of great interest.
