From October 15, 2023, Kreisstraße 26 in Mitterode will be extensively renovated. Hessen Mobil has taken over the implementation of these construction work on behalf of the Werra-Meißner district. Preparatory work on a nearby economic route has been running since the beginning of September. This is used as diversions for traffic during the construction period. The diversion is set up, while the K 26 is repaired from the Mitteroden offices to the branch to federal road 27.
