Fatal accident on L3206: couple has a serious manner near Neuhof

A "terrible accident" shook the L 3206 on Sunday, November 17th! At around 4:25 p.m., a couple from the Fulda district got into a tragic situation with her Kia Venga when the 80-year-old lost control of the vehicle at the wheel. On the rainwet road, in a harmlessly shining left curve, the car slipped into the ditch and crashed against a tree with full force! What a nightmare!

The rescue workers had to intervene quickly to free the two occupants from the wreck. The 80-year-old driver and her 79-year-old passenger were seriously injured, but fate was merciless: the passenger succumbed to his serious injuries in the evening and died! The L 3206 had to be completely closed during the dramatic rescue work - a terrible sight for all passers -by.

The police are now determining how this fatal misfortune could occur. At the order of the Fulda public prosecutor, an expert was consulted to clarify the closer accident. The investigation is at the beginning, while the property damage is estimated at around 5,000 euros.
