drama on the A66 motorway! On Wednesday, November 13th, around 1:10 p.m., a serious traffic accident occurred just behind the Schlicht-Nord junction. A 45-year-old driver, on the way with a nine-year-old passenger, got into a life-threatening moment when a 20-year-old driver from Hanau tried to overtake her on a rain-wet road.

The young man lost control of his Mercedes, after initial knowledge, caught the Dacia of the 45-year-old and caused a chaos on the street. As a result, the woman could no longer steer, her vehicle overturned and landed on the roof! Fortunately, the two women only wore minor injuries and were immediately taken to the hospital for further examination. The person who caused the accident remained intact, but the consequences of his driving maneuver were devastating!

The alarmed rescue and cleaning teams provided a dramatic appearance- with three ambulances, firefighters from Schluechtern and Wallroth and the motorway police, they were quickly at the scene of the accident. The highway then had to be temporarily closed for the rescue work - a shock for all drivers who were traveling on the A66 for tense rush hour traffic! The route could not be released until 2:20 p.m.

What remains is a high damage of around 30,000 euros! Eyewitnesses will report on a dramatic sight - further proof of how quickly it can be dangerous on the streets!
