KSV Hessen Kassel continues to fight: Only 1-1 against Baroque city Fulda!
A gripping duel in the Regionalliga Südwest ended between KSV Hessen Kassel and SG Barockstadt Fulda-Lehnerz with a 1-1 draw. Before 1,837 enthusiastic spectators, the favorite from Kassel on the winning road seemed when Nikos Zographakis scored 1-0 in the first half. But the equalization by Tim Korzuschek shortly before the half -time whistle (43rd minute) caused excitement and gave the audience hope for a dramatic second half.
The second half was rather disappointing. Despite a double change in the 54th minute, in which Severo Sturm and Joyce Philippe Luyeye-Nkula came into play for Tobias Boche and Benjamin Hadzic, the Kasselers could not add up. Both teams gave themselves nothing, but there was no open exchange of blows. In the end, the tie remained what is a bitter disappointment for KSV Hessen Kassel. With now three wins, two draws and ten defeats, Kassel ended up on a direct relegation zone and urgently needs to work on your own defense, which on average receives more than two goals per game.
The current table situation
The SG Baroque city of Fulda-Lehnerz, on the other hand, can be satisfied with the draw and remains tenth.
