Frustration at Fuldaer Cannabis Club: License allocation is missing!

Fulda, Deutschland - In Hesse, the anger is bubbling under the cannabis social clubs! The "Exotic Kingdom CSC Fulda" and other clubs have been waiting for their growing licenses for over four months and are frustrated over the political blockade. "We are all pissed off," explains Willi Kappes, the founder of the Fulda Club. Despite the completed prevention courses and intensive preparations, the green light of the authorities is missing. "We are fighting a wall from bureaucracy," continued Kappes. The black market benefits from this delay, while the clubs remain uncertain.

The Situation is alarming: cannabis clubs have been able to make applications nationwide since July 1, but not yet a single club has started cultivation in Hessen. Kappes reports on an “unofficial meeting” with authorities in which the delays were attributed to the lack of requirements by the Federal Government. "We want to create legal and safe ways to supply cannabis, but we see ourselves towards a standstill," says Kappes, who sees the credibility of the legalization project at risk.

In order to proceed against the blockade, 16 cannabis clubs, including the Fulda Club, have joined an urgent complaint from cannabis social clubs Minga from Munich. This lawsuit was filed because the deadline for the license allocation has already passed. "If the authorities continue to delay the license allocation, other clubs will also take legal action," announced Kappes. The financial burden is enormous: high operating costs and already paid fees for the application put the clubs under pressure.

On November 30th, the clubs plan a demonstration in Munich to draw attention to the grievances. "We want to show how the authorities undermine the legalization project and endanger the existence of the social clubs," explains Kappes. The cannabis social clubs, which stand for the joint cultivation of hemp plants, see their existence threatened and finally demand clear decisions from the responsible authorities.
