The Highwalk in Rotenburg: a new height rush!

Rotenburg an der Fulda, Deutschland - A spectacular event is imminent! The new tourist attraction in Rotenburg an der Fulda will be opened on St. Nicholas Day: Germany's second longest suspension bridge, the "Highwalk". This impressive construction will be accessible to all visitors on Friday, as Managing Director Felix Stuhldeher announced in a press release. With a length of 617 meters, the highwalk is only exceeded by the 665 -meter -long skywalk in Willingen and promises breathtaking views over the city and the Kottenbach valley.

The suspension bridge hovers up to 60 meters above the ground and is a challenge for everyone who suffers from fear of heights. Stuhldeher is convinced that the Highwalk Rotenburg will catapult into a new tourist era. After only nine months of construction and the use of 84 tons of steel and 54 tons of wearing ropes, the bridge is now ready to inspire visitors. The company 'Crestageo' from Switzerland, which specializes in suspension bridges, worked with innovative credits rope technology to realize this elegant and airy bridge.
