A shock for health care in Dipperz and Hünfeld! The Medical Care Center Freudenberg will close at the end of the year. The reason? One of the doctors retired and a successor could not be found. Klaus Freudenberg, who heads the MVZ, faces the challenge of no longer being able to meet the minimum requirements of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, since there are only 2.5 contract doctor's seats.

The closure affects not only dipper, but also Hünfeld, where the patients will be available from December 31 without the usual medical care. Klaus Freudenberg, who will soon be 70 years old, tried intensively for a successor, but without success. "The minimum requirements for an MVZ are no longer available," he explains resigned. This decision comes as a surprise to many and raises questions about how basic medical care in the region can be ensured in the future.

Mayor Klaus-Dieter Vogler von Dipperz expresses his concern about the consequences of the closure: "The employees were apparently only informed at the beginning of the week. We still have Dr. Hölper with practice on site, but to what extent the patients can simply be cared for elsewhere is questionable." The closure of the MVZ Freudenberg last year led to long queues and problems with access to patient files. The uncertainty about future medical care in the region is alarming!
