Autobahn GmbH has warned the road users: Between the south portal of the Elbe tunnel and the Bahrenfeld junction, only two out of three lanes are available from 10 p.m. That means 55 hours of traffic jam potential in front of the Elbe tunnel!

But that's not all: the S-Bahn line S1, which also uses the affected bridge, has also been out of operation since the beginning of the autumn holidays. Passengers have to switch to replacement buses that commute between Othmarschen and Bahrenfeld - until November 3!
