Culture day in Harburg: Over 40,000 visitors celebrate a firework of diversity!

Harburg, Deutschland - On Sunday, Harburg experienced a cultural firework of extra class! The 21st cultural day turned the city into a pulsating center of art and culture, which attracted over 40,000 visitors. From 12 noon to 8 p.m., numerous cultural institutions opened their doors and offered free access to an impressive spectrum of art, music, literature and theater. The route stretched from the inland port to Heimfeld and delighted the guests with a colorful kaleidoscope at cultural highlights.

A true festival for the whole family! Over 20 institutions presented a carefully curated program that captivated both art lovers and curious people. From classical art to modern installations to musical performances and literary readings - there was something for every taste. The Harburg Arcaden and other local shops offered activities such as lantern handicrafts and face painting, which provided bright faces for the small visitors. The popular Lions Charity Days took place in the Phoenix Center, in which over € 10,000 for social projects were collected in the region.

A highlight of the festival was the traditional lantern parade, organized by the Harburger Schützengilde. Over 4,000 participants followed the festive routes through the city center to Rathausplatz, where they were received with a torch trellis. Snacks and drinks from the Lions Club Hamburg-Harburg harbor took care of the physical well-being. When the evening broke in, a terrific fireworks illuminated the sky above the town hall square and put on the crown of the cultural day. It was not only a celebration of the cultural day, but also the 25th lantern parade - an event that has made children's eyes shine since 1971!

"A successful 21st Harburg cultural day is behind us! The diverse cultural offerings offered the guests inspiring insights into the creative creation of Harburg," said Harburg's City manager Antonia Marmon from Harburg Marketing e.V. The day was a complete success and left -wing impressions for everyone involved.
