On Thursday, November 21, 2024, at 6 p.m., the photo group of the Jesteburg working group will present an impressive collection of images that documents everyday life in Jesteburg from 1945 to the 1960s. This event is part of the popular "Speech at Bossard" series and not only promises visual impressions, but also stimulating discussions.

The selection of the pictures illuminates the eventful political situation after the Second World War, the challenges of the refugee situation and life in the community. The photographs not only show the large employers of the region, but also private snapshots that bring public life alive. The Jesteburger Working Group for Heimatpflege e. V. has been committed to preserving the identity of the community and keeping its history alive for over 70 years.
