Fire brigade Goch: Fastest use with electric vehicles planned!
Moers, Deutschland - Goch - An exciting chapter in the world of emergency services! The city of Goch's volunteer fire brigade stormed to Moers for groundbreaking training on electric vehicles. 50 brave firefighters immersed in the secrets of the new vehicle technology and took part in intensive meetings over four afternoons. Not only theory should count here, but also practice: the instructors showed the emergency services the special requirements that electric cars bring with them compared to conventional combustion engines.
important knowledge for the fire brigade
Fire chief Stefan Bömler was enthusiastic about the training, which raised numerous fire -fighting questions! What do the rescuers have to consider in accidents with electric vehicles? Which protective measures are required for use at accident sites? A separate workshop for car apprentices became the scene for these crucial information, in which the participants were able to dive directly into the matter. René Gravendyk, senior master of the Niederrhein motor vehicle guild, directed the training and helped to convey knowledge about the challenges and special features of electric vehicles.
This initiative shows the commitment of the car guild, which has already signaled that further training afternoons are on the plan. The Goch fire brigade will certainly use this valuable opportunity to optimally prepare the emergency services for the new technologies. The relevance and necessity of the training are undisputed - because at a time when electric vehicles appear more and more on our streets, it is crucial for the safety of the emergency services to be well informed!
