An exciting update for the Osterholz-Scharmbeck volunteer fire brigade! Under the direction of Tobias Kratzke, a committed member of the Pennigbüttel local fire brigade, a new standard mission rule for the security team was developed. This squad plays a crucial role in an emergency by providing the respiratory protection team to jump aside for the respiratory protection squad that works in fire operations if they get into trouble.

The safety of the emergency services is at the top! In order to make the tasks of the safety troop more effective, extensive material was provided. In order to avoid confusion, this equipment will in future be clearly placed on a special storage area. City fire chief Jörg Bernsdorf and city protection manager Carsten Gloystein were thrilled to accept the new plans for all ten local fire brigades, some of which were financed by generous donors. These measures are a further step to optimize the operational readiness and security of the fire brigade.
