Miu impresses at Horizonte Festival: strong women's power event!

Young musician Miu has quit her job in advertising and is causing a stir after flying to New York to perform at renowned live club The Bitter End. Miu will also be the headliner at the Horizonte Festival in Bremervörde, which takes place under the motto “Strong Women”. This festival is organized by the Kultur- und Heimatkreis e. V., Tandem – Shaping Social Participation, as well as the Nature and Adventure Park Bremervörde GmbH. The Sparkasse Rotenburg Osterholz also supports the event.

Miu already played in Bremervörde in 2017, where she presented some of her songs unplugged for a campaign by the Vörder Seefee. In the past, they were the first pop band to perform at the Elbphilharmonie, and their voice was used to adjust the Elphi sound. Her album “Modern Retro Soul” made it into the official German album charts in 2019, and in 2023 her music was heard on Dresden’s ARD-Tatort and in a ZDF Rosamunde Pilcher film adaptation. Miu is actively committed to better conditions for artists and completed her master's degree in culture and media management in 2023.

Details about the Horizonte Festival 2025

The Horizonte Festival 2025 begins on January 31st with the presentation of Fidi Steinbeck, followed by a special program on February 8th that addresses the role of women in music history. MARION & SOBO BAND will perform on February 21st before Miu takes the stage on February 28th. Miu will present songs with a strong sound, inspired by female songwriters.

The concerts in the Bremervörder Council Hall begin at 8 p.m. Single tickets cost €25, while a festival pass for all four events costs €90. Tickets are available in the Morgenstern bookstore, the Bremervörde Tourist Information Office and online in the Sparkasse Rotenburg Osterholz ticket shop.
