Deniz Undav started his career in TSV Achim and went through various training stations in Werder Bremen, SC Weyhe and TSV Havelse in the D-youth. In the 2014/15 season he played for the first time in the Regionalliga Nord for Havelse, where he drew attention to himself the following season as a regular player and best scorer before moving to Eintracht Braunschweig for the 2017/18 season.
