This year's Esslingen Vesperkirche takes place from January 19 to February 2, 2025. The venue is the parish hall on Blarerplatz in the old town. This initiative aims to offer more than just a meal; It should create space for encounters, conversations and conviviality. Project manager Bernd Schwemm has gained a lot of experience in recent years and is looking forward to the upcoming event. Pastor Christoph Bäuerle and Bernd Schwemm invite you to participate, like the Stuttgarter news report.

The 15th Esslingen Vesperkirche opens its doors from January 21 to February 4th and is carried out in the new Blarer, the Evangelical parish hall on Blarerplatz. Warm meals, consisting of soup, main course and salad, as well as coffee and homemade cakes, are offered every day. support and support for the participants

The main goal of this campaign is to support people with low incomes and to combat loneliness. The Vesperkirche took place in the Esslingen Frauenkirche in the past ten years, and the move to the new Blarer took place during Corona pandemic. Around 200 meals can now be output in the new Blarer; In the Frauenkirche there were up to 550. The total costs for the Vesperkirche are estimated at around 45,000 euros, with donations urgently required. The price of a meal is 1.50 euros, while the costs for the organizers have risen to 7 euros.

The number of volunteers have been reduced from 600 to 300, the helpers come from different religions and milieus. As a project manager, Bernd Schwemm is on site daily, supported by pastoral careers. Cake donations, especially stirring cakes, are urgently needed, interested donors can contact Bernd Bremm. On January 25th, Helge Thun will appear in the Vesperkirche with his program "Held der Komik", admission is free. The opening times of the new Blarer during the Vesperkirchen era are daily from 11.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., with a meal edition from 12 noon to 2 p.m., as the Evangelische Kirche Esslingen
