Dubrovnik before a wastewater problem: City is fighting for tourism!

Dubrovnik, Kroatien - The picturesque holiday destination Dubrovnik, known as the "Pearl of the Mediterranean", is currently fighting with a serious wastewater problem. According to reports from the Croatian news portal Dnevnik.HR, unfiltered wastewater is led into the sea about 30 meters off the coast, which leads to considerable displeasure among residents. Dubrovnik, which attracts millions of visitors every year and is not only known for its impressive old town, but also known as the location of the popular "Game of Thrones" series, has already taken measures to limit the rush of visitors. The number of daily cruise ships was reduced to a maximum of two. These measures are intended to help relieve the city and its infrastructure. Many residents also express their concerns about the ongoing grievances, with a resident finding: "This is a shame for all of us, especially for a city like Dubrovnik." While the anticipation for summer vacation is already growing, it is important to find out more about the current developments before planning the trip, as also by
