Big victory for the family house: 600 euros for children's culture in Prenzlau!

In the Prenzlau district of Georg-Dreke-Ring 58, the “House of Family” won first place in an exciting competition from the local drugstore. The decision was made by a combination of local and online voting, in which numerous supporters participated. This award is associated with prize money of 600 euros, which will now flow into different projects in the house.

The handover of the checks took place in a solemn atmosphere, in which the branch manager Yvonne Pursch presented the check to Jörg Kuschel, the division manager of the “Haus der Familien”. It was supported by employees and many children who came from the in -house dance studio "Swing".

The commitment of the “House of Family”

The "family house" is active in the Uckermark, especially in Prenzlau and Angermünde, with a focus on working with children, adolescents and families and seniors. According to Jörg Kuschel, prize money is used to promote children's culture work, strengthen the dance studio and also support projects for families and seniors.

In order to thank the participants of the voting, the Zumba-Kids showed their talents in a spectacular dance performance, which was enthusiastically persecuted by many parents and grandparents. Offers such as a wheel of fortune where small prices could be won for additional entertainment, as well as an area for face painting.

This competition was part of the large-scale campaign "We promote future projects near you", which took place in around 2,100 DM markets in Germany at the same time. With the motto "Lust for Future", it was called to work together on the design of a positive coexistence and an open, livable society. The DM teams are committed to ensuring that local initiatives receive more attention and their importance is recognized for social engagement in the country.

In total, the company invests over 2.1 million euros in the participating future projects. This illustrates the commitment of the DM markets for social projects and their support for local initiatives.
