Arne Raue, previously non -party mayor of the Brandenburg city of Jüterbog, submitted a member application to the AfD last week. The district association Teltow-Fläming unanimously decided on Sunday to record it. After a one -month opposition period, Raue becomes officially a member of the Brandenburg State Association. A clear step for the AfD, which wants to further expand its influence in local politics!

AfD boss Alice Weidel is enthusiastic and sees in Rau's accession a further proof of the growing local political anchorage of her party. "Mr. Raue brings great expertise and social skills to the party," she enthuses.
