Carnival in Potsdam: Mayor hands the key to the fifth season!

Karl-Liebknecht-Straße, Potsdam, Deutschland - A top -class spectacle has on November 11th. The carnival season opened at 11:11 a.m. in Potsdam! Mayor Mike Schubert (SPD) handed over the symbolic keys to the happy carnivalists of the city in front of the historic town hall of Babelsberg. A moment that heralds the fifth season duly and makes the hearts of the fools beat faster!

In a colorful move, the carnivalists moved through the streets of Babelsberg and created a exuberant atmosphere. For the first time, all four carnival clubs in the state capital took part in this traditional ceremony: the Potsdam Carnival Club (PKC), the carnival club Farrenschiff, the Carnevalclub Rot-Weiß Groß Glienicke and the LKC Babelsberg. Over 100 enthusiastic participants gathered in Karl-Liebknecht-Straße to celebrate this special moment. "Now I'm not just center, but also keyless!" Schubert called when he handed over the huge keys to the prince couples of the clubs.

The celebrations continue! On Saturday, November 16, the LKC Babelsberg invites you to the annual carnival party in the Lindenpark. Under the motto "In anime, you dream wide, imagination becomes reality", the 46th session is celebrated with music, humorous sketches and dance performances. The fun begins at 8 p.m. and the tickets are available in advance for around 10 euros. An unforgettable evening is imminent!
