Neuruppin. In the Ostprignitz-Ruppin, Oberhavel and Prignitz region, there are currently a variety of unoccupied training positions. Hundreds of positions remain vacant after the start of the new apprenticeship, while many young people are still looking for the right professional perspective. The Employment Agency in Neuruppin sees great potential here and plans to tackle this Situation with a final offensive.
Stefan Dirkes, the operational managing director of the employment agency, makes it clear that in numerous industries and professions there is still the possibility to conclude contracts. Young people can get into training by the end of October, which offers those involved a valuable opportunity to find a suitable apprenticeship.
Diversity of the training positions
The apprenticeship portal of the employment agency shows that the range of free training positions is very wide. From retail to metal construction to gastronomy and carpentry - the possibilities are diverse, although the new school year is already running. In cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) and the chambers of crafts in the region, various campaign days are organized to promote direct contact between employers and interested young people.
These days should not only give young people the opportunity to get to know the professions, but also to speak directly to training companies. The employment agency emphasizes that the goal is to occupy the open apprenticeships "precisely". Robert Wüst, the President of the Chamber of Crafts Potsdam, encourages parents and young people to use this opportunity to transfer it.
The training portal of the Chamber of Crafts currently offers around 800 free apprenticeships in 67 apprenticeships in Westbrandenburg. Such positions are extremely valuable, especially in times of increasing demand for qualified specialists. Wüst emphasizes that the craft offers numerous development opportunities, from the trainee to the journeyman to the master and even to the company.
The campaign days are an excellent opportunity for young people to have personal consultations and to find out about their professional opportunities. IHK President Ina Hänsel emphasizes that many local companies are ready to train young people-often right outside the door. This is an opportunity that should not be underestimated.

On Monday, October 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. there is a meeting for the district of Oberhavel in the Oranienburg Employment Agency. The second day of action is planned for Thursday, October 17th , from 1pm to 5pm in the Agency for Labor Neuruppin and in the Perleberg Employment Agency for the Prignitz district.
