Havelland. Next weekend, the residents of the Havellands await a colorful program from numerous events. From cultural highlights to entertaining activities - there is something for every taste.
in Rathenow starts a very special vernissage entitled "Youth meets art" in the Torhaus Weinbergfriedhof on Friday, October 18, at 3 p.m. The motivated art teacher Jana Goldau inspired children between the ages of three and six as part of the “Green Classroom” project. The event is accompanied by musical interludes of the "Das Concelli Quartet".
The events at an overview
On the same Friday, the fairy tale theater "Dino-Zug" in the marquee on the Schützenplatz in Rhinow ensures entertainment. At 4 p.m., young and old can look forward to a performance with lively characters and imaginative stage sets.
in Falkensee, in the "B89" (Bahnhofstrasse 89), the film "Broadway" at the "Film Festival of Generations" will also be shown on Friday at 6 p.m. This film tells the inspiring story of Margot, who crosses the boundaries of 18 countries for the first time at the age of 64 - and experiences the numerous cultural differences. Entry is free and promises an exciting evening.
Also in Dallgow-Döberitz the film "In Taxi with Madeleine" takes place at 6 p.m., where Madeleine drives through the streets of Paris with a taxi driver and visits her past.
Saturday, October 19
On Saturday Rathenow invites you to "cultural gardeners". From 9 a.m. at the Torhaus Weinbergfriedhof, interested parties can actively participate and learn more about different cultural techniques.
At the same time, Friesack calls for "autumn cleaning". The meeting point is at the town hall at 9 a.m. The participants should bring working materials such as shovel and leaf bags. As a small thank you, a snack is offered around noon in the AWO hut.
For music lovers, the 26th Brandenburg battle festival is on the program in couples in the Glien near the mafz adventure park. On Saturday and Sunday, around 10,000 to 12,000 visitors are expected who can look forward to regional delicacies and traditional house slaughter. On Saturday Wolfgang Lippert will rock the stage, followed by Petra Zieger on Sunday.
The small animal exhibition of the D89 in Falkensee offers an insight into the interesting world of small animal breeding on both days and is a nice opportunity for families to learn more about this fascinating animal husbandry.
On the evening of October 19, the crime comedy "A body on Appels banking" from the theater is listed in the Rathenow cultural center at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, October 20
The Sunday in Rathenow begins at 10 a.m. with the Altweiber summer run, followed by a wine festival in the Märkische Platz, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. This event takes place in connection with a Sunday open.
In Nennhausen, the planned pumpkin carving will be held at 2 p.m. All creative people are invited to show their carvings, supported by a little refreshment in the form of coffee and cake.
The weekend is rounded off with an autumn concert by the TB session band in the church of Strohehne at 4 p.m. Admission is free, whereby donations are expressly welcome to support the artists.
For all interested parties, the event "Life Memories" is available in Falkensee at 5 p.m. in the city library, where Prof. Dr. Otto Kruse talks about memories and encouraged to share their own stories.
