Mobile country doctor in the Havelland: remedy for a shortage of doctors!
In the Havelland, a far -reaching pilot project "Mobile Land Doctor" is launched, which is intended to mitigate the shortage of doctors in rural areas. The district council unanimously decided on Monday that fixed office hours will be offered by local doctors from the first quarter of 2025, supported by community sisters and telemedicine. This is done in the offices of Rhinow, Friesack and Nennhausen on specified days of the week. The municipalities involved provide money and practice rooms, while 150,000 euros from districts are provided for the necessary technology, as rbb24 reported. The project enhances the use of community sisters who act as non -medical practice assistants and support medical care in order to ensure better support for patients.
New funding program for regional development
At the same time, a new labor market policy program in the Havelland, called "Regional Budget", starts on July 1st. This program is supported by the funds of the European Social Fund (ESF) and aims to promote the integration of people who are long -term unemployed or difficult to convey. Around half a million euros will flow into the Havelland. The Havelländer Official Gazette to submit applications to make applications to different projects realize. One focus is on the creation of jobs subject to insurance, in particular to support young people and older job seekers.
The concept aims to link regional development projects with employment support instruments.
