The country's orientation rate is 660 percent. The city points out that the reduction of the lifting rates alone does not necessarily lead to lower property taxes for citizens, since the real estate values were re -evaluated by the tax offices in the course of the reform. The trade tax also remains unchanged at 306 percent. In addition, Hensel mentioned that the higher lifting rates are partially due to the increased water levy, which is raised to maintain the water as a result of all citizens. These adjustments concern a total of around 80 percent of the tax data in Beelitz, as the chief office manager Torsten Zado explained.

For owners who have not yet received a new property tax notice, there is an obligation to pay advance payments based on the old decision until the new decision was announced. These advance payments must be made on the specified dates (February 15, May 15, August 15, November 15) to ensure the continuity of the tax revenue. In addition, an adaptation of the advance payments will only be possible by a new decision, according to the regulations of the property tax law, such as Finance Brandenburg explained.
