historical memories

less known is the history of the refugee quarthannel camp in Kronskamp, which existed between autumn 1945 and autumn 1946. It is estimated that over 2000 people went through the camp, many of them died of hunger and infectious diseases. This dark episode of the post -war period is often forgotten, but it is another reason why the Memorial Day is so important. The memorial event was made possible by the support of the Evangelical parish of Laage and the Evangelical Military Panel Office in Laage, for which special thanks were made.
