Joint training: Fire Brigade and Bundeswehr inspire in Burg!

Burg, Deutschland - An exciting event took place on October 12, 2024 in Burg! This Saturday, the fire brigade and Bundeswehr met for joint training, which emerged from loose discussions on public dates. The comrades of the motor training center were immediately enthusiastic and began to plan a day full of exciting training topics. The anticipation was noticeable!

The day started early at 8:00 a.m. in the tool shed, followed by a short way to the barracks in the Krähenberg. The Bundeswehrmades were already waiting for the group there. The daily routine was discussed in warm drinks on a fire shell. Divided into groups, the participants started with various stations, including a challenging driver training in heavy terrain as well as exercises for "self -salvage" and the "attachment of heavy equipment". The introduction to the uniform tactical characters that are used when a vehicle is used was particularly exciting. The Bundeswehr fire brigade also gave fascinating insights into their technology and work, and the terrain of the BW vehicles caused great enthusiasm!

The conclusion of this educational day? It was just fantastic! The participants were enthusiastic about the training and were well cared for - be it with drinks, grilled sausages or humorous sayings. "We hope for another, together cooperation," said Marc Sommer, who summarized the great experiences. Special thanks went to Hauptmann Brand, who launched the project, even if he couldn't be there that day. The group plans to continue the collaboration next year and look forward to new common challenges!
