Women's football: Stahl-Elf overslets Beelitz with 8-0 sensation!
The women's team from Stahl Brandenburg showed an excellent performance in an impressive home game against Beelitz and won 8: 0. Already at the beginning of the game, the motivation in the coaching team was noticeable, and the players consistently implemented the strategies that were given to them. The goal was clear: put the opponent under pressure from the start and compensate for ball losses immediately. This concept had a positive effect, since the action of the first half was largely in half of the Beelitzer.
The first tour for the hosts fell in the 10th minute. Stella-Fabienne Hobert used a missed defense campaign after a corner kick and accommodated the ball in the opponent's box. In the course of the first half, the Stahl Brandenburg team kept the ball in their possession and kept Beelitz away from her penalty area. After further opportunities that remained unused, it was Nathalie Säger who took 2-0 after half an hour. Shortly before half -time, Livia Bauer practically marked the preliminary decision with her goal.
Beelitz had visible difficulties to arrive against the defensive of Stahl Brandenburg. Despite considerable technical skills, they remained without any noteworthy opportunities. With the kick -off of the second half, the hosts again went into play full of vigor. Vanessa Bürger, who was substituted in the second half, prevailed in the penalty area in the 49th minute, but her chance was warded off by guest goalkeeper Antonia Lietz. However, Marlen Wodtke was ready and increased to 4: 0.
The quick goal seemed to make the will of the Beelitz women to improve the result of putting a damper. In the 61st minute, Wodtke again forced the 5-0 after fitting the ball in front of the goal. The pressure on the Beelitz defense grew, and a remarkable reflex by steel goalkeeper Anna Krusemark in the 67th minute kept the box clean when she safely clarified in a one-on-one situation.
The attack by Stahl Brandenburg then never ended. Wodtke used a rebound and scored 6-0 in the 69th minute with a spectacular goal. Two minutes later, Anja Seelhoff scored 7-0. Beelitz 'goalkeeper Lietz was increasingly frustrated and blamed her teammates the lack of defense work. This frustration reached its climax in the 74th minute when Livia Bauer's shot went to the post, but turned the rebound to 8: 0.
Despite the many goals, Lietz had the opportunity to prove herself against Seelhoff in the 83rd minute, which she also succeeded. But the result of the game, a 0: 8, will be difficult for the entire team to digest.
The coaches Fräsdorf and assistant coach Tino Neumann were proud of the performance of their players after the game. With this victory, the team sat down at the top of the table, even if the second -placed FSV Babelsberg has played one less game less. This clear result shows that the steel women are quite able to achieve great achievements when they play concentrated. It was also gratifying that five players were able to register in the goal scorer list, which makes the team unpredictable for all opponents. Already on Sunday, October 13th, the next away game against the 1.FFC Turbine Potsdam III is due.
