Adventure in the ground: exciting workshops for children and adults!

Am Rietzer Berg are an exciting activities for young and old. The workshops offer a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the fascinating world of the soil and to get in touch with nature. The "Bodendecker" workshop takes place on children from 8 to 12 years, which is led by the experienced workshop leaders Ulrike Schmidt and Annette Poot. The young participants can go on a journey of discovery in several stations and get to know the different types of soil. You will also learn how the soil is built into layers and what living things are at home.

At this workshop, the children not only have the opportunity to collect theoretical knowledge, but can also become active. So it is on a large vegetable sacker looking for earthworms, and the advantages of compost are explained in a very practical way. The event takes place on two dates: at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

adult workshop on soil activity

parallel to the children's workshops, adults can take part in the "floor activity" workshop, which is led by Carlotta Gabriel. The focus is on the ability of the soil to convert waste into energy. The participants have the opportunity to take soil samples and compare the soil activity at different locations. If you have your own garden, you can also have your soil samples brought with you to learn more about their texture and humus content.

Both workshops offer enough space for exchange and questions, so that the participants not only take on knowledge, but also can also contribute their own experiences. These events are not only informative, but also an invitation to actively deal with the environment.

Registration is required for both workshops. Interested parties should register at info@rietzerberg.de and give the number of participants as well as the age of the children or the number of adults. The workshops take place in the Landschafts- und Kunstverein Rietzer Berg, Rietzer Siedlung 11, and offer an exciting opportunity to deal with an important part of our ecosystem.
