Tree planting campaigns in Cottbus: 1,500 new trees for Branitz!

Saspow, Cottbus, Deutschland - In Cottbus it blooms again! The city starts with fresh tree planting campaigns in the districts of Saspow, Döbbrick and Branitz. Today a symbolic tree was planted in Saspow on the playground, a sign of the green turn! Supported by committed sponsors, including the Enerbetrag company, the cityscape is upgraded by new trees. Regional manager Jan Philipp said enthusiastically: "We came to Lausitz to beat roots and tackle it!"

But that's just the beginning! In Döbbrick, the first three trees have already been planted on the playground, which should urgently donate shadows. This is where VfB Döbbrick takes care of the care, while Lausitzer Wasser GmbH is available as a partner. "Tree plantings are an important part of water management in the city," emphasizes Jens Meier-Klodt, commercial manager of the LWG. The city of Cottbus does everything possible to develop into a sponge city - an ambitious project!
