Discover the future: Open day for students in Brandenburg!

in Brandenburg an der Havel will be an important decision for many students and parents in the coming weeks: planning the school career after the 6th grade. On January 31, the half -year certificates will be distributed and a primary school report gives recommendations for the further educational path. On this day, the families also receive the registration forms for secondary schools.

In the city, parents and students have a selection of five high schools and two high schools in municipal sponsorship. In order to give the future seventh graders an insight into the different educational offers, many schools organize an open house in January.

The following dates for the open house days are often a valuable opportunity to get to know the schools, to speak to teachers and students and to receive information about the school programs:

• Bos Kirchmöser : January 14, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., information events at 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.
• Oberschule Nord : January 15, from 5 p.m., information events at 5 and 6 p.m.
• Otto Schirch-Oberschule : January 18, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., presentation of the school program.
• New secondary school Caasmannstraße : January 21, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., half-hour information events.
• Nicolaischule : January 23, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., hands-on rally and information events at 4 and 5:30 p.m.
• Bertolt-Brecht-Gymnasium : January 18, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., information events at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12 p.m.
• von-Saldern-Gymnasium : January 25, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., art area opens at 9 a.m.
• Oberstufenzentrum Alfred Flakowski : 21 January, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Information on educational offers such as Abitur and Abitur.

As the Havelschule reported, these events are aimed at pupils of the 5th and 6th grades as well as their parents. The open house days offer an excellent opportunity to explore the future of school, experience lessons, to gain impressions from everyday school life and to find out more about the various schools.
