Bosch reduces working hours: Crisis in the automotive industry affects employees!

In a reaction to the continued crisis in the automotive industry, the Bosch Campus in Föching reduced the working hours and salaries of its employees. A total of 500 employees of the subsidiaries Bosch Engineering and ITK Engineering are affected. According to ZDF , the automotive supplier Bosch has announced that it has been reduced over 5,000 positions, 3,800 of which in Germany. This is done against the background of slow market growth in electromobility and back projects in the field of intelligent driving assistance systems.

The automotive markets in Europe shrink due to an economic and demographic value, while younger generations are increasingly few cars, which also contains demand.
