A big step for education in the Southern Wine Route district! With a strong financial support of over 307,000 euros from the European Social Fund, the district becomes an education municipality and sets new standards in the educational landscape.

The district has big plans: together with citizens and all important educational actors, a comprehensive educational mission picture is being developed. The aim is to create institutionalized networking that is coordinated by an education advisory board. The focus is on the areas of integration, securing skilled workers and culture in lifelong learning. In addition, educational monitoring is introduced to make data -based decisions for the future. A central online platform will bundle all important information on educational questions and make it accessible to everyone. In order to achieve these ambitious goals, new jobs are created: including a 50 percent position for integration, a 75 percent position in the field of educational monitoring and skill securing as well as a 60 percent position for a educational speaker in the field of culture.
