Dangerous popularity among young people

Particularly alarming: Even in the seventh grade, students of consumer cases report on emergency medical missions. A bag can contain the nicotine content of up to six cigarettes! The dangers are enormous: nausea, dizziness and even fainting are possible consequences. "Enlightenment about newer products in the tobacco industry urgently has to improve," demands Rabenstein. The Pouches have a positive image because they are consumed by professional athletes and hyped on social media such as Tiktok.

The nicotine bags are not only prohibited in Germany, but also fall under food law. Nevertheless, they are available on the Internet and even in kiosks. The Federal Office for Risk Assessment warns of health risks, especially for children and pregnant women. "The long -term effects are unknown," said the authority. The federal drug commissioner Burkhard Blienert emphasizes that the tobacco industry must no longer make children and adolescents dependent. Nicotine bags are not harmless products - they quickly make them addicted and can have devastating health consequences!
