The artificial turf from the European Championship fan mile at the Brandenburg Gate now finds a new, sensible use. As part of the European Championship sustainability program, it was decided to install the high-quality artificial turf on sports fields in the Berlin districts. Treptow-Köpenick has prevailed and can now use the coveted lawn!

"We are very happy that a share of the artificial turf at the location of the Sophie Brahe Community School can be installed and now used by the school community," explained Marco Brauchmann, the CDU district councilor for further training, school, culture and sport. The DFB mini playing field now shines in new splendor and will certainly be used enthusiastically by the students.
