A total of 108 star singers from all over Germany are present to bring blessings and self -made stars. A central goal of the star singers is to campaign for children's rights and to collect money for disadvantaged children in Kenya and Colombia. focus on children's rights and global commitment
The Dreikönigssingen campaign 2025 is committed to strengthening and enforcing children's rights worldwide. As parishbriefservice.de , the UN Convention of the Rights of Children is based on basic rights for children. These include protection, promotion and participation. Despite the progress since 1989, such as halving the mortality of children under the age of five and the decline in the number of malnourished children, there are still challenges. Around 250 million children, especially girls, receive no school education, while 160 million children work under exploitial conditions. In addition, over 43 million children and adolescents are on the run.
The star singers not only campaign for children's rights, but also support local aid projects. This includes the community of Sankt Paul of the Apostle in Turkana, Kenya, which offers health care and schools, as well as Benposta in Colombia, which have experienced children and adolescents who have experienced violence or neglect. The donations of the star singers flow into aid projects for children in around a hundred countries worldwide. Further information about the campaign can be found on the website www.ststersinger.de
