Refurbishment of the Paul-Schwarz-promenade: better ways for Steglitz!
Paul-Schwarz-Promenade, 12169 Berlin, Deutschland - The Paul Schwarz promenade in the Steglitz-Zehlendorf district will become the scene of a comprehensive renovation from Monday! Residents were informed in advance by notification, while the work on the 440 meter long, badly damaged route begins. The renovation measures extend from the staircase on Krahmerstrasse to the helicopter landing site of the Berlin Charité. Here a water -bound route is restored to make the route shine in new splendor.
Caution! Temporary restrictions on use occur during the construction work. Cycling and foot traffic must be adjusted to diversions that are signposted on site. Access to the promenade is temporarily completely blocked because the old path is completely torn down and the entire system is renovated. Those responsible do everything they can to complete the work in about two months, so that the route can be used again this year.
costs and financing
The renovation costs a total of around 150,000 euros and is financed by a special program of the Senate Administration. With this measure, the uses of the connection should be improved, especially in the rainy months, when potholes and puddles make use more difficult. The residents can look forward to a safe and pleasant use of the promenade!
