Dog owners in Berlin: Court for resistance and assault!
In the pulsating metropolis of Berlin, where over three million people and numerous animals live, an incident caused excitement that now ends up in court. A 66-year-old dog owner is accused not to have adhered to the rules that are essential for a harmonious living together between humans and animals. The incident occurred on May 1, 2023 in the Dreifuhlpark in Dahlem when the man went for a walk with his dog - but without a leash what is strictly forbidden in this park.
The situation escalated dramatically when two employees of the regulatory office pointed out the holder to the leash obligation. Instead of joining himself, the senior fled with his dog and hid in a nearby house. However, a brave employee did not let himself shake off and put his foot in the door to prevent closure. In a desperate attempt to free himself, the dog owner kicked the hip, which led to a painful bruise and made the 51-year-old unable to work for eleven days.
