In an urgent open letter to the Senate Administration, you will request the immediate stop of the controversial construction plans on the site of the Emmauswald, a former cemetery. 440 condominiums are to be built here, but the environmentalists are alarm: This place is a valuable retreat for humans and animals!

A committed residential initiative has been fighting against the construction project for two years, which threatens the green oasis in the densely populated environment. City Councilor Jochen Biedermann (Greens) had already pointed out that this forest was the largest in Neukölln, which caused the district assembly to stop the development plan procedure. But the Senate has resumed the procedure and the waves hit up!

The nature conservation associations vehemently argue that a species -rich biotope for mouse bus, bats and butterflies was created on the approximately four hectare area.
