Ternitz against excavation chaos: Mayor threatens with consequences!
Ternitz against excavation chaos: Mayor threatens with consequences!
The mayor of Ternitz, Christian Samwald, decided to take through the uncoordinated excavation work to relocate the fiber optic sternet in the course of the continuing complaints. According to a report by Mein district, Samwald announced that the open künetten, which have existed for several weeks and cause considerable trouble among the residents, can be closed immediately by an asphalting company by the end of November. The cost of this work will be charged to the defaulting excavation companies.
This measure follows the reviews of the municipal building authority on December 2, in which numerous still open construction sites were found. Residents such as Elisabeth Schiefer from Pottschach have been struggling with this "shameful construction site" since mid -August, which, despite the initial promise of rapid completion, has never been completed. In her request to the mayor, she expressed her concerns about the provisionally closed paths and the associated dangers for residents and traffic, while Samwald made the pressing pressure on the companies clear: "Agreements are to be observed. In the event of violations of the Ternitz population, there is no sorry!"
inadequate coordination and pressure on the companies
Samwald said particularly critically that the excavation companies dig up motivated, but drop considerably when the construction sites are closed. "The situation is intolerable for the residents," continued the mayor, who emphasized the need that both winter service and traffic should not suffer from poor coordination. Measures have been taken to ensure that the positions, in particular the Kornflumengasse, are restored as soon as possible to avoid future problems.
The municipality of Ternitz has assured that it will set all levers in motion so that such delays no longer occur. In addition, improvements in the asphalting process of the currently edited areas are already in sight, as Samwald reported. At the same time, citizens must continue to hope for a rapid completion of the work, which are already massive impairment in everyday life. For further information on progress in the construction site situation, citizens can always contribute their concerns about the mayor's office hours, as can be experienced on the Ternitz.at platform.
