Swedish fire in the tennis club: A feast for young and old on January 11th!

On Saturday, January 11, 2025, the Limburgerhof tennis club organizes a Swedish fire in which the population is cordially invited. The event begins at 4 p.m. and the ignition of the Swedish fire takes place with darkness. The tennis club is located in the Schlesier Straße in Limburgerhof.

The Swedish fire is a traditional event that includes a special Swedish torch. This consists of a solid piece of wood that is cut in the middle. The aim is to set up as many tree trunks as possible to create a special atmosphere. Participation takes place under the possibility of donating a tree trunk for 50 euros or more, with part of the proceeds to flow to German Leukemia Research Aid (DLFH), which takes care of children with cancer.

The physical well -being of the guests is also taken care of. Mulled wine, children's punch, bratwurst, cheese spaetzle, goulash soup and waffles are offered at fair prices.
