Murder process in the Allgäu: Young people are in court for the death of a homeless person

A murder process against a 17-year-old adolescent began this day before the Kempten district court. The accused is suspected of fataling a homeless person in the Allgäu in May of last year. The public prosecutor has charged charges for murder and resistance to enforcement officers.

The incident occurred on May 7, 2023 in Immenstadt in the Oberallgäu district, when the defendant started to the 53-year-old homeless. The young person attacked the victim with several punches, including on the temple, which seriously injured the victim. After the attack, the homeless retired to the anteroom of a bank branch and filed a complaint with the police. The following morning the homeless was found in a life -threatening state and died of brain hemorrhage despite intensive care treatment.

Details on the procedure

The autopsy has shown that the hemorrhage is the central question in the process. The public prosecutor argues that there were low motives for the crime and that the young person wanted to demonstrate his power. The accused has already been identified as an intensive offender and is known to the police.

The main hearing takes place in no public because the accused was not of legal age at the time of the crime. Seven trial days are initially scheduled. A judgment is expected to be expected in mid -February 2024. The defendant's defense lawyer, Michael Eichinger, doubts the intent for the murder system and will present an expert opinion on the culpability of the young person.

Reporting on this case shows the severity of the allegations that are raised against the young person, and the tragic outcome for the victim. The discussion about violent crimes, especially among young people, is again fueled by this incident, such as br24
