Airy perspectives: Lichtenberger annual calendar 2025 shows protected areas from a bird's eye view
The Lichtenberg annual calendar 2025 is an ode to the protected areas of the district, because it presents it from a very special perspective: the bird's eye view. With a limited edition of 3,000 copies, anyone interested can now get a calendar free of charge at various points in the district. These places include public libraries, citizens' offices, district centers, the town hall Lichtenberg, the environmental office in Lichtenberg and even the farm shop on the Malchow Naturhof.
District Councilor Filiz Keküllüoğlu, responsible for traffic, green spaces, order, environment and nature conservation, emphasizes the importance of the protected areas that make up the proud 18 percent of the district area. They not only serve as a retreat for endangered plant and animal species, but also contribute significantly to the preservation of biodiversity. In addition, they are available to the residents of Lichtenberg as valuable recreational opportunities in order to enjoy nature in full trains and increase personal well -being.
The environmental office Lichtenberg has been coordinated and creates the annual calendar since 2014, with a focus on regional nature conservation issues. The twelve drone photographs in the calendar offer a unique view of the district in all its facets through the different seasons.
Traditionally, everyday objects are auctioned on the light market at the town hall in Möllendorffstraße with motifs from the calendar for a good cause. For everyone who wants to learn more about Lichtenberg's natural diversity, the 2025 annual calendar is an absolute must.
