Development wave in Lichtenberg: New construction projects in September 2024
In September 2024, a large number of construction and planning projects were processed in the Lichtenberg district office. There were both new building applications as well as granted construction notices that will shape the future development of the district.
The building applications received can be found such as the renovation of the hospital Queen Elisabeth Herzberge at Herzbergstraße 79 in Rummelburg, the new building and the expansion of the existing building at Seddiner Straße 8 in Friedrichsfelde, the basic repair and the cultivation of the Georg Orwell School in Sewanstraße 223 also in Friedrichsfelde as well Service center Ostkreuz at Schreiberhauer Straße 2, also in Rummelburg.
In addition, construction notices were granted, including the construction of residential buildings at Gärtnerstraße 17/18 in Alt-Hohenschönhausen, the new buildings and conversions at Vulkanstrasse 3 in Lichtenberg and at Seddiner Straße 8 in Friedrichsfelde.
Further construction projects include the construction of a new bicycle specialist in Landsberger Allee 300 in Lichtenberg and the construction of an administrative building of the housing association Solidarity eG in Alfred-Kowalke-Straße 39b in Friedrichsfelde.
These developments indicate continuous growth and a constant change within the Lichtenberg district, which will shape the cityscape.
