Grizzlys demand everything from Cologne sharks - the duel of the titans!

On Friday, January 8, 2025, the Grizzlys play against the Cologne Haie at 7:30 p.m. in the Lanxess-Arena. In their last encounter, which took place on Tuesday, the Cologne Haie were able to defeat the Eisbären Berlin with a 5: 3 victory, despite three equalizers during the game.

For the Cologne Haie, this is already the fifth home game in a row, in which they have achieved three victories and a defeat so far. The sharks currently occupy the sixth place in the table with 58 points and are tied with the Adler Mannheim and EHC Red Bull Munich. In addition, they have ten points more than the Straubing Tigers and the Wolfsburg Grizzlys, who take the seventh and eighth place.

Louis-Marc Aubry is the top scorer of the Cologne Haie and has scored 14 goals and 15 templates in 32 games. Louis-Marc Aubry, which comes from the Canadian province of Québec, has been playing in Germany since the 2016/17 season. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in 2010 and began his career in North America, where he spent three years in the QMJHL and six years at the Grand Rapids Griffins, the Red Wings AHL farm team. After moving to Germany, Aubry played for three and a half years in Berlin and two seasons in Ingolstadt before he came to the Cologne sharks in the summer of 2022.

In the 2022/2023 season, he formed an offensive series with Maximilian Kammerer and Andreas Thuringon and in the main round came to 53 missions in which he scored 56 points (19 goals, 37 templates). In the following season 2023/2024 he completed with 37 scorer points, which demonstrates its strong shape.
