Neukölln leads: Where in Berlin are the streets the most dirty?
Shocking survey reveals which district of Berlin is the most dirty!
Neukölln leads the list of the dirtiest districts in Berlin, and with overwhelming 40 percent of the votes of over 14,000 participants! The T-Online survey has provided a clear answer, which reveals a lot about the state of the capital. While Kreuzberg-Friedrichshain and Mitte also push into the spotlight, Neukölln remains unchallenged at the top.
placements of the dirtiest districts
The situation becomes even more exciting if you look at the other districts. With a considerable share of voices, Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg and Mitte follow close behind Neukölln. Marzahn-Hellersdorf, the first former East German district in this ranking, closes the top four. In contrast, there is a clear cleanliness in the districts of Treptow-Köpenick, Steglitz-Zehlendorf, Tempelhof-Schöneberg, Lichtenberg and Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, all of which have received less than three percent of the votes.
In Berlin there are an impressive 24,000 wastebasket from the BSR city cleaning to combat the garbage. There are also 2,500 garbage containers in parks, which are also cleaned by the BSR. It is interesting that the number of 3500 containers in the middle is even above average. But despite this infrastructure, the question remains: Why is cleanliness in some districts so different? The Berliners are looking forward to the answers.
